This Closet Academic

Most people have secrets.  Mine is… well maybe not that secret for those who know me.  I confess, I am a closet academic.  I like books.  I like to read books.  I like to own books.  I like to study.  Summed up, I get way too geeked up about school.  I just have a hard time admitting it.

I don’t pretend to be important, famous, original, or revolutionary.  I just try to think.  I try to think best thoughts, that is, thoughts on the faith.  A faith that unashamedly preaches an infinite God, a sovereign Savior, and an active Spirit.  A faith that cries out for help, and is each day reminded of the God we serve.

May we encounter the grace and peace of a God who offers an incorruptible love.

My name is Curtis W. Lindsey and I live in Dallas Texas with my beatufiul and patient wife.  I’m currently a student at Dallas Theological Seminary.  My wife and I are both graduates of Texas A&M University, so you’ll have to love us or hate us (hopefully love us)!
