1. A discussion on the role of “spiritual disciplines” in the life of the Christian.
2. Some reviews of books I’ve recently read.
3. As always, I’ve made it my mission in life to demonstate the necessity for the pastor to be able to handle the original languages effectively in preparing his sermons.
4. A discussion on Bible translations and translating philosophy.
Point 3 is essential. A pastor should either learn the languages or learn how to use scholarly tools that open up the language. A Christian must always begin with the Word, comparing everything else to what Scripture means. Preaching and teaching should never be, “This is how I feel about this matter.” It should always be,
“What does the Lord God say?”

I’d like to read a post by you concerning unconditional love. If God’s love is not always
unconditional, where does Scripture teach the
conditions?
